We know that in the months following the COVID-19 vaccination, the efficacy of antibodies in elderly and vulnerable people tends to decrease with greater incidence.

However, we cannot confuse antibodies with knowing that the immune system has to retain information in order to fight the disease.

We also know that the Delta Variant is more contagious and aggressive than the original virus.

We also believe that due to the emergence of mutations in the COVID-19 virus, vaccinations such as the seasonal flu vaccines will be included in the annual vaccination schedule.

Although some countries, such as Israel, have already started a Booster Programme with a 3rd vaccine, at this point there is not yet the scientific support to strongly recommend the Booster.

Promoting regular vaccination for low-income countries can be more effective in controlling new emerging variants.

Keep safe!
