Shop Around the World in One Day
The Diplomatic Charity Fair is back in Budapest for the 12th time. Just as in previous years, numerous countries will again assemble to showcase their traditional products. National souvenirs, crafts and specialty items, as well as food corner will enable visitors to ”Shop Around the World in One Day” in the same place!
The Diplomatic Charity Fair, organised by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest, will be held on Sunday, 19th November 2023 from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m, this time at a bigger and more spacious venue, the BÁLNA BUDAPEST (1093 Budapest, Fővám tér 11-12).
Mrs. Szilvia Szijjártó-Nagy, spouse of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, is the Patron of the Fair and will grace the event with her presence. In addition, many of the Ambassadors here in Budapest along with numerous VIP guests will take part in this charity fair.
Visitors can look forward to exciting cultural entertainment provided by several participating embassies. There will also be raffle draws with wonderful prizes to be won.
All proceeds of the Diplomatic Charity Fair 2023 will be donated to the following Hungarian Charities:
- Együtt Az Autistákért – a foundation supporting initiatives that create a more liveable, acceptable and equal world for people living with autism
- Csodalámpa Alapítvány – a foundation fulfilling the special wishes of terminally ill children
- SOS Gyermekfalvak – a foundation helping children in need in Hungary
The entrance fee is 1,000 HUF. Children under the age of 14 have free entry.
